LINX Accredited Internet Technician III
LINX training course description
An intensive hands on IP and the Internet course leading to LINX Accredited Internet Technician stage 3 focusing on advanced IP issues including BGP, CIDR, QOS and security. Hands-on sessions are used to reinforce the theory rather than teach specific manufacturer equipment.

Who will benefit?
Network engineers.

LINX training course prerequisites
LAIT I and II attendance with a LAIT 1 exam pass and 55%+ in LAIT II. OR
LAIT I and LAIT II exam only passes, or
CCNP and take LAIT I and LAIT II exams whilst on this course.

LINX training course objectives
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
  • Describe the architecture of the Internet and interrogate RIPE for AS details.
  • Calculate CIDR prefixes in seconds.
  • Implement and troubleshoot BGP.
  • Influence traffic paths with BGP.
  • Configure IPSec and secure IP networks.
Duration: 5 days
